"Shattered Bonds" debuts with strong ratings on Nova TV

The limited series Shattered Bonds (6x1h) has premiered on Bulgaria’s public broadcaster Nova TV on Thursday, 20 March, in the evening slot. It outperformed tough competition, including a national team’s qualifying football match and a popular music entertainment show, achieving an impressive market share of 23%. The series has generated significant media buzz in the run-up to its air date, with a national premiere held simultaneously in two cinemas in Sofia with over 500 attendees.
Nova TV is airing Shattered Bonds weekly with new episodes every Thursday. The series will be available on its media platform after the linear airing.
The drama series Shattered Bonds is told through the lens of six teenagers who form an extraordinary bond with their new teacher. Tackling the issues of youth violence and broken families, the series explores what can happen when young people are left without emotional support. Based on the novel and theatre adaptation "The Mothers" by Theodora Dimova, the series is produced by Overlock Ent. & Albion Films for Nova TV and directed by Viktor Chouchkov.
Beta Film is handling international sales.
