Munich/Toronto, 13 June 2024. Beta’s canine/cop duo keeps on giving: Hudson & Rex season 7 was officially greenlit during Rogers/Citytv’s program presentation this week. Shaftesbury Productions will start producing the new season in June in St John’s, Newfoundland, with new episodes ready for broadcast in early 2025.

Hudson & Rex has evolved into one of Beta’s most sought-after series with well over 100 episodes and sales in more than 120 territories worldwide. The two co-stars John Reardon (Hudson) and Diesel vom Burgimwald (Rex) most recently went on a trip to Europe with stops at Canneseries and London to meet fans of the series.
