Beta Group had great success at SERIES MANIA this year, winning three prestigious prizes. Beta Film's Soviet Jeans, produced by Tasse Film in co-production with Go3, TV3 and Depo, was honoured with two awards. Karlis Arnolds Avots won Best Actor in the International Panorama category, and the Latvian dramedy also won the Audience Award, triumphing over all other nominated programmes this year. In addition, "Herrhausen, The Banker and the Bomb" (produced by Sperl Film and X-Filme, part of the Beta Group) won Best Screenplay in the International Competition.
